The church had my eyes look higher and higher, until they reached the sky.
A sort of way to prepare the faithful to heaven above I guess.

Thank you for your commenting, Lan.

If you look down from the sky, the higher you reach, the more our lives seem contrasted. Beauty and uglyness, joy and sadness, trust and fear...
Did you notice the odd shapes the clouds are forming near the really top ? As if something was to happen there, only if you stare and think a while.
Photography can be contemplation, just as well as it can be the quest for THE moment to picture.
Helps meditating about ourselves, making us grow, choose new paths to follow in our lives.

I think we've met once on DA before, I'm glad to be able to hear back from you.
Take care, and thanks again.

Thank you for taking time to comment on this, but what do you mean by super-imposed ?
Forgive my bad English...

erm.. as in it the building looks very bold and not really there. its as if you burnt it in to that background. not in bad way, definitely good. looks very surreal and mysterious. :)

hmm. I would like it better if the picture was more centered.. the left side seems so empty.. but besides that, I'm in love with it :+fav:

I can see what you mean about the left side, although I do not find the emptyness disturbing here, for the clouds play a big part in the whole atmosphere of this shot.
But thank you for pointing this, I will remember it next time I'll shoot this kind of view.

And of course, thank you for your adding it to your favorites, I'm really glad you liked that work that much.
