Evening is for me a perfect time to spend by the sea, the warmth of the day has let a nice mildness relax everyone, and as the day ends, the night life is about to begin.
What about a drink, outside the café ?

Ahh.... Looks so relaxing. I'd like to take a little vacation right about now... I miss the beach. Or anything that has water next to it ;P. Like a lake or a river... It's been a while. :(

It's a very nice picture :) The contrast is perfect, and I thank you for framing your work! (some people don't bother with that and I think it makes their work look incomplete).

You read like you need a break indeed :)

Talking about the frame, I don't really know, well I do it for some reasons, the first one being that I don't like my pictures being shown on a green background that much, but sometimes a frame can break the rythm of your photograph.
I think it depends on each picture.

Now I do frame every time the works of mine, for the reason told you mainly.
But I used to consider whether I would do it or not a while ago, like in this piece [link] where the white frame would have broken the gradients, or in [link] where it would have destroyed the geometrical work I tried to get.
Furthermore, a white frame is not exactly what I should add, but a slightly beige one, so as not to disturb the reading of the whites, within the shot.

Anyway, thank you very much for your kind words, I appreciate your commenting.
Take care, and seek the water to get a vacation !

France is always nice. So is this pic.

I believe every place can show beauty to the eyes of the ones who seek it or, at least, are able to see it.
And this begins right beyond your doorway.

It came to be that I was born and have lived my life in France, but traveled a lot, and since I do not go abroad as I used to do any longer, France has become my playing field...

I'm glad you liked that view of this part of my country.
thank you very much

im in love with those shadows. and the very linear but complex breaking of space with the black and whites. its like this world i can look into and keep finding new things that were hidden before. great capture :)

Time spent on a picture to find details that were not to disturb the first reading of the whole shot at first glance.
Yes, you'll find details, but this photograph shows more, it is its atmosphere I like best, and you are right, the blacks and whites are the center of it.

Thank you once again for this comment.
